I woke up this morning quite late. I had a list of things I needed to do today and boy, how hard it was to get started on any. So I decided to stay home, lazy around for a while and try to get some things done.
I was somewhat successful in doing somethings on my to-do list but then, I didn’t get to do everything.
It’s tempting to feel depressed and angry at myself for not doing all I set out to do today. But then, things like this happen. Some days feel off and seem so hard to get myself to do something tangible with my life.
But I decided to focus on what I could achieve today. And I realized that today was a good day. So what if I didn’t do everything on my checklist? At least I got to do some. I didn’t waste my day doing anything.
So I have learned today to focus on the things I successfully checked off ☑ on my to-do list rather than the things I didn’t get to do. I am sure tomorrow will be a better day.
